Reach people while they're curious.
Circin audiences are actively exploring — science, technology, money, history, health. That attention is different from passive scrolling, and it's a different place for a brand to be.
How advertising works on Circin
Native and clearly labeled. Every paid placement carries a visible "Sponsored" label. No exceptions.
3 A sponsor’s name. A title and one line about what is on offer, in the sponsor’s own words.
- The Sponsored labelThe same word on every age band, at the top of the card where it is seen first.
- About this adOpens why the card is there, a way to hide it and a way to report it.
- Who it is fromThe sponsor’s name sits on the card itself, not behind a tap.
- The way outA notice that you are leaving Circin comes first. On the under-13 band a parent gate comes before that. Today there is nothing behind the button, and the app says so.
- An advertiserNothing has been sold, so outside the demo walkthrough the app picks no ad at all.
Contextual, by design. Circin is organised by Subject, so a placement sits next to the thing it belongs beside rather than following someone across the internet. To be plain about where this stands: nothing has been sold, no ad has been served, and the only targeting the app can do today is by age band. Subject-level placement is what we are building it into — talk to us early and help shape it.
Direct campaigns. Work directly with Circin on campaigns, with clear reporting and brand-safety controls.
No subscriptions on Circin. Watching is free and always will be; advertising is how the platform is meant to be supported. A share for creators is the intention and is not built — there is no revenue share today, and for-creators.html says the same thing rather than implying otherwise.
Self-service campaign tools are on the roadmap; today, campaigns are arranged directly.
